Get started with the new patient resources you need at Pennsylvania Pain & Spine Institute. We are here to support you and help you get back to living the life you want!

We are Pennsylvania’s largest independent PM&R/physiatry-based pain management practice, unaffiliated with any surgical groups. Our role as PM&R specialists is to provide an open, honest assessment focused on restoring function and addressing the underlying musculoskeletal causes of pain.

New Patient Portal

Call our Office to Receive your Setup Link

First, give our office a call to enable your portal. If you called us to schedule your new patient appointment, this has already been done! Check your email (and spam) for a link to set up your portal. Your username will be your email, and you will set your own password. *Write this down!

You can then login to your portal any time at the link below (www.pennpain.ema.md) and choose “Patient Login”. Then sign in with the information you created. You can also choose to download the patient portal app on your smart phone if you’d like to have access whenever you need it!

What you can do in your portal

In your portal you will be able to view any upcoming or previous appointments, make payments, request an appointment, review visit summaries, and message our Medical Assistant team.

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had spinal stenosis of my back plus different other problems of my spine and my hips. I couldn’t stand on my feet for longer than a half an hour and walking was out of question. And I used to walk 3 to 5 miles with no problem. After having both of my hips replaced I was getting ready for the back surgery when I came to Dr Kelly with my granddaughter with her knee problem. I told him about my problems and he told me about MILD procedure which I never knew about. I decided to try it. Dr Bozak performed the procedure. Now a month later I can stand on my feet with no pain and I am starting to walk. I couldn’t be more happier and I am not having back surgery. Thank you Dr Kelly and Dr Bozak.

She listened to my concerns and was very helpful and supportive. Dr. Bozak was friendly and attentive and explained treatment options. He also knew my history and past treatments. I had a very bad experience at my previous pain center after going there for 15 years.  Dr. Boyd and his assistant helped me to get off of a very strong opiate that the previous clinic prescribed. He really listens to you and sincerely tries to help you feel better. All of his assistants are very friendly. Shirley and everyone at the front desk are also very kind.  Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Several weeks ago I had a procedure done.   I decided to wait to see how it went before giving a review.  Dr Boyd is an excellent and meticulous doctor which is comforting to me and to anyone considering injections.  The neck was somewhat alleviated and for my bulging disc and stenosis I am thankful.  The attention to detail is wonderful from Doctor Boyd and those assisting him.  I felt very cared for and professionally treated yet with warmth and kindness.  I highly recommend Dr Boyd  , He seems to always find the inflammation area most needed for attention!!! Thank you Dr Boyd for all your efforts, compassion and guidance.  Also the office staff  Kaitlynn and Lisa are such amazing staff and so patient, kind and make coming to office so welcoming, enjoyable and easy to problem solve.  Also Hope is remarkable in  office calls to adjust scheduling and other important issues.  Of course the attending staff with the doctor were just what I needed and appreciated!!!!’  Due to my inability to to stomach/tolerate steroids I must have minimal amounts of steroids- so don’t base my outcome due to the fine tuning Dr Boyd has done on my whole body’s response to certain medications.  We do what we can and I am glad for such careful and thorough protection of the whole patient.  Thank you again Dr. Boyd!!!
